Treatment Approach
I offer a patient-centred hands-on approach, coupled with exercise prescription and education. I use a combination of functional dry needling and other soft tissue/myofascial techniques (including instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization and therapeutic cupping) with manual therapy techniques such as joint mobilizations, McKenzie techniques and exercises for movement patterning, strengthening and motor control to get you back to your goals. I think it’s important for people to keep moving and doing what they love so we work together to get the best results possible. I have also taken extra courses to work with vestibular dysfunction and acute or chronic post-concussive symptoms.

I have been working in multidisciplinary clinics for over 10 years using a therapeutic approach for client focused treatments. I treat conditions not symptoms. I use a variety of techniques during my treatment and have recently added TMJ Massage to my list modalities. TMJ (Temporal Mandibular Joint) Massage can be added into any treatment but is also a treatment all on its own. TMJ massage focuses on the muscles of the neck and jaw to create symmetry and restore proper function within the structures. Some of the symptoms of TMJ include, clenching, grinding, headaches, popping, whiplash and concussions.
